I'm writing this newsletter to inform you of many changes Debra and I have made to prices of products on the site. After we finished with the IRS this year and looked at our P&L spread sheet we knew that changes had to be made.
Our first reaction was to raise prices so that we could stay afloat. After this we both looked and didn't care at all for what we were having to charge on our products. After all, our initial idea with this business was to offer alternative products at affordable prices.
Our little company is starting to grow because of you and we are now able to purchase supplies in larger bulk sizes which does allow us to readjust our prices to a lower rate. But we will have to monitor how this bulk purchasing will affect us, for the reason that most all of our products are of plant based ingredients including preservatives. Most of our base products have a shelf life of one year. We will not be able to store our products in the warehouse for years like the big companies are able to do because of the chemicals they use to preserve their line of products, which have years of shelf life.
