Little Black Dress Tart Melt Candle
This is a feel beautiful fragrance in our tart melt candle. When you take base notes of white carnation and blood orange which are perfect foundations for mid notes of sandalwood, black rose, smoky wood, and a kiss of patchouli, then add top notes with a hint of toasted vanilla bean, whiffs of vetiver, amber and the tiniest touch of Egyptian musk you end up with a smoky, seductive finish that is appetizing and alluring.

Christmas Scotch Pine Whipped Shea Butter
If you enjoy an old fashion Christmas tree fragrance then this Christmas Scotch Pine African whipped shea butter is what you have been searching for.

You won't find this fragrance with many companies; it is a hard fragrance oil to obtain. This tree is native to Europe and Asia, ranging from Scotland, Ireland and Portugal in the west, east to eastern Siberia, south to the Caucasus Mountains, and north to well inside the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia. It is now being grown in North America for its usage as a Christmas tree because of its natural shape and fragrance.
Not only does this fragrance oil throw excellently in our candles, but I myself love this fragrance in our goat's milk soap. Folks don't let the name of this fragrance deter you from trying it in our bath & body products such as lotions and creams; reason is this has an unbelievable refreshing and uplifting aroma.
I really can't say enough about this fragrance to do it justice, so I'll give you a list of what makes up this scent below. But, I do guarantee that if you ever try this, you will be hooked like we are.
This fragrance has a warm earthy scent with mossy green base notes. There are subtle hints of apple and peach which add lift to the woody fir balsam, spruce and cedar. Altogether the scent is reminiscent of crisp; clean refreshing and lingering Christmas season scents on a cool morning.

Making Your Own Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap
Would you like to save tons of money? Follow this recipe and you will!
First, we use any family commercial bar soap in our homemade liquid laundry soap.
I would love to say use a bar of our unscented goat's milk soap, but our soap doesn't have the ingredients that the commercial brands have. Our soap is for personal body use.
We bought a large automobile funnel for changing engine oil. Any auto parts store or even the large chain stores have them. Reason for this funnel is, the large funnel has a large throat and will allow our gelled homemade laundry soap to pass through the funnel into the container we keep it in without problems.
Recipe cost: approximately $2.00 per 5 gallon concentrate. Which ends up being 10 gallons of liquid laundry soap.
Homemade liquid laundry soap ingredients:
1 five gallon bucket with lid
1 long handled plastic stirring spoon
1 large automobile engine oil funnel
1 bar family size unscented commercial bath soap Note we use a family bar of Ivory.
1 cup Arm & Hammer Washing Soda
1 cup Borax
Optional 1 ounce fragrance your choice
Directions:
Grate bar of soap and add to saucepan with 4 cups of hot tap water. Stir continually over medium-low heat until soap dissolves and is melted.
Fill a five-gallon bucket half full of hot tap water. Add melted soap, 1 cup of Arm & Hammer Washing Soda and 1 cup of Borax. Stir well until all powder is dissolved. (If you use fragrance add it now.) Fill the bucket to top with more hot water. Stir, cover and let sit overnight to thicken to a gel.
The next day stir the 5 gallon bucket and fill a used empty commercial liquid laundry soap container half full with your home made soap and then fill the rest of the plastic jug with hot tap water. Here is where you will use the large automobile funnel. Shake your homemade washing soap before each use.
Using the plastic jug cap that comes with the commercial brand liquid laundry soap container use only one cap full per load.
We keep a plastic cup in the 5 gallon bucket to use when time to refill the used plastic jug. Letting it float around inside the 5 gallon bucket is fine and we don’t have to search and try to find one when we need it!
Optional:
We sale fragrances that work well in this soap such as fresh linen, blue skies, jasmine, lavender and we also use essential oils such as lavender and tea tree. The choices are almost unlimited. Or into the Essential Oil category if you want those oils.
The end results are 5 gallons of soap that is concentrated and will end up making 10 gallons for only $2.00. We like it because it really cleans our clothes and leaves them fresh smelling, even without using a fragrance.
Note: If you find this too harsh for your skin, then cup back to ½ cup of the Washing Soda and borax.
Also if your soap doesn’t gel, no problem, it will work just fine. Sometimes our soap gels and other times it doesn't.

Container Candle Performance UpDate!
Hello everyone, I'm writing to give you an update on our 4 and 8 ounce container candles.
I wasn't pleased and I'm sure some of you like wise were not happy with the way our container candles performed in the past.
So for the last year I've been focusing on a new wick assembly and a tremendous amount of testing. The finishing results are that now either the 4 or 8 ounce container candles burn evenly, do not smell of burning wicks and give off a wonderful fragrance load.
I want to apologize to anyone in the past that didn't receive the results that were expected.
I've permanently lowered the prices of both the 4 and the 8 ounce candles to express my sincerity.
Summing up, if you desire a candle which burns evenly and produces the fragrance in your home or office that you expect, then we suggest for you to please give us another try and let us show you how by research, testing many components including the wick assembly a powerful and elegant container candle can become reality!

Grape Bubble Gum Body Mist
Folks for the description of this fragrance I need to go back to South Georgia as a child and speak of the little corner store call Park market. When we kids were able to scrounge up a penny we would hurry to the Park Market Store and purchase the grape bubble gum that was the size of a jaw breaker and would fill your mouth with the wonderful taste of sun ripened grapes and leave our tongue and mouth the color purple.
When searching for this fragrance I remembered the smell of the original gum and when I sampled this grape bubble gum fragrance I knew we would carry this one. This alcohol free body mist is downright scrumptious to the point where I believe at times I actually can taste the fragrance. I love how it leaves the skin soft and silky with a beautiful lingering scent.

If you like the smell of tanned leather then this is what you have been searching for. This fragrance has won 5 blue ribbons at the trade show in Atlanta, Georgia and by far is the finest leather oil to be found within the industry.

Cotton Candy Tart Melt Candle
Now folks this cotton candy fragrance sure brings back wonderful memories. I can still smell and taste that spun goodness when I was at the Southeastern Fairground in Lakewood Georgia as a kid.
I remember walking down the fairway amazed with all the brilliant lights, the sounds of the many different rides, hearing all the people yelling and laughing as the different rides were tossing them to and fro, the coins tinkling as they were being tossed at the stacks of bowls and cups. But for me I distinctively remember the click clack of the roller coaster as it was climbing up the first hump which soon would as if in midair drop down the other side at an never before calculated speed taking everyone's breath and with wide eyes and yelling at the top of their lungs.
I will never forget the wonderful music the carousel played as the many different colored horses with mirror backdrops slowly circled in their endless ride as they moved up and down. I still to this day remember my own personal carousel horse that I named Smoke who was a solid shiny black horse with a dark red saddle with real chrome buckles and bit. I would always make a mad dash to claim smoke before any other kid did, because nobody could ride smoke like I could!
I remember listening to all the different announcers on the public address systems telling me to "Come one come all! Step right on in, yes you son, step right on in for only a thin dime, that's right just for a tenth of a dollar and you can see the wondrous Belly dancers straight from Arabia!" Or what was even better for me was, "Young man, come on in and for a quarter, that's right you heard correctly for only a forth of a dollar take five shots at the slowly moving duck targets and win that gal a teddy bear!"
Almost every one of my suppliers carries cotton candy fragrance oil and each is different. I had 4 one ounce sample bottles of cotton candy fragrance oil from 4 different suppliers lined up in a row. I stepped back in time and brought forward the smell and taste of that large spun pink ball of candy on that paper cone handle I use to enjoy so many years ago. With the memory fresh in my mind I smelled each bottle and behold it was the third bottle to the right that nailed it!
So I'm proud to state that we now carry the truest cotton candy fragrance to be found. This is not close to; it is exactly like that sweet spun sugar I remember smelling and eating as a kid.

Mountain Crafted Yarn Mister Rooster Cogburn
Hello everyone, I'm writing about a situation that I'm sure could be challenged in court and proved to be of inadequate information and as a downright tale of fiction or in more basic English, a lie. But, I'm standing here alone and with hesitant conviction stating that all in this writing is true and has not been embellished.
We now have an uninvited guest among us. This guest is a one eyed game rooster Debra named Rooster Cogburn. In most cases this fowl of unscrupulous intentions would not bring forth much if any interpolation or speculations. But, as I iterate with pen and paper the deeds of this incredible devious cockerel or to be more exact a downright crafty beggar who in many ways reminds me of a great uncle I have, my worries are that my dear Wife Debra has been completely manipulated by this roosters undeniable nefarious tactics of acquiring sustenance on a daily basis.
Neighbor, to bring this undesirable mishap to an even higher crescendo, Debra feels that what I'm writing about this pathetic transient rooster are not coherent she feels his actions are of the most upright and of honorable intentions. I hereby firmly state that his intentions are calculating and focused on his personal gain; to be more exact, free grub. I must admit that I am somewhat intrigued by his tactics and method of achieving his nefarious goal of gaining sustenance without gainful employment. I believe it is time for me to expound and to authenticate on Mister Rooster Cogburn's underhanded and despicable deeds that he performs to cause an unsuspecting soul to fall for his tantalizing methods of brain washing.
Hereby I give the unadulterated truth of the manner and must leave the final decision of credibility of truth or false to your intellectual expertise. First of all, this conniving beast of a fowls has with I'm sure with planned and strategic forethought orchestrated his appearance of undeniable state of desolate and circumstances that would cause most any unsuspecting person to rush to the aid and give forth any and all assistance to ward off the demise of this poor unknowing and innocent victim whom has fallen into times of personal unforeseen tribulations. In other words, shovel out the chow to him!
You may ask, "How does this poor and harmless scavenger pray upon defenseless victims?" And a good and reasonable question you have requested to be answered. I shall commence to expound on the facts as I see them.
Mister Rooster Cogburn one day was found to be haphazardly wondering around in our front yard for what seems to us for no particular reason. But in only moments we were suddenly confronted with his sounds of sorrow, loneliness and despair. Which Debra at haste went back into our home and returned with bread and staples fitted for a king. After enjoying his meal and I must add without any reasonable etiquette the said rooster commenced to sing for his meal or actually crow at the astonishment of both Debra and myself. As you will be able to establish for yourself with my further writings, this was the beginning of a never ending scenario. And a planned plot by stated chicken!
With diligent investigation we have mutually come to the conclusion that Rooster Cogburn belong to no one in this valley and obviously has no home to call his own. If you are one of a tender heart, do not despair for one moment more. In fact as you shall see as I continue with Rooster Cogburn's scheme you might want to follow his example, give up your own home and enjoy the fruits of your labors without having to do any labor at all. We have spoken with our neighbors within this valley and we all have come to the same conclusion that good old rooster Cogburn has purposely laid out a plan so that he can feast off the fat of the lamb without having to ruffle a single feather.
Here is how this devious bird has accomplished his goal. At around 6:45 AM he will make his presents known to our home by roosting on our porch railings and then commence to crow as if ordered by god to bring forth the new day. He will continue with this ear splitting nuisance until Debra will come out to the porch with food in hand, sit on the porch and hand feed him. You heard right, he will come to her and take his morning offerings right out of her hand. Then to top off his scam, he will make gurgling noises in his throat to her. Debra believes he's talking to her. I know better, he is only a practitioner of evil intent.
After he notices that he has diminished the bounty, he will bid his adoes and head for our neighbors house and exactly duplicate the same strategy to them what he has accomplished with us.
I could understand if this was an occasional occurrence, but Rooster Cogburn has this deception down to a fine art. Not only does he have his internal clock to arrive at our home at 6:45 AM, he returns at noon and to finish off the daily rations he arrives around 3:30 to 4:00 PM for his evening snack. Now folks think about this for a minute. There are 3 houses in this valley on this side of the river. Rooster cogburn is wondering from one home to the next and enjoying delicacies such as pizza, cookies, bread of all sorts, dog and cat food, he's even known to partake of candy. OK you might say, he's doing well for himself being homeless and all of that. Well please allow me to expound on Rooster Cogburns way of showing his appreciation for what he is receiving.
I have to clean and scrub my porch down every other day because of the thank you OFFERINGS Rooster cogburn leaves deposited daily. Not only I have to partake of this discussing chore, but it has been reported by our other neighbors that they also have their own established routine of cleaning their own porch.
I shall end with this humble statement. Debra is the preparer of meals in this home. So, when she speaks of how a sweet boy Rooster Cogburn is and how he is just so wonderful how he takes food from her offering hand, I speak not and grab my scrub brush and water hose and commence to cleaning the porch. Because I know that if I choose to take a stand against this evil, manipulating, discussing and conniving rooster, I will end up eating my own food out of a can with a spoon!

Bayberry Candles, Room Spray & Home Fragrance Oil
Hello folks, I want to start off with this fragrance description by stating that this is not one of those everyday forest tree scents. Oh no, this is quite a unique aroma indeed.
These mixtures of fragrance oils has been blended so that one moment you are smelling Douglas Fir and next is sweet Balsam then out of nowhere comes delicious spicy Nutmeg and Ginger scents.
I'll be honest, I almost didn't order a sample of this fragrance because of course when I heard the name Bayberry, I automatically thought of trees, Christmas and all the rest that goes with those types of fragrances. Boy was I wrong and I'm sure glad I ordered the sample.
Does it smell like trees such as a Douglas Fir? Yes it has the scent of the Douglas Fir. Does it have sort of a holiday season fragrance? Well yes, it does. Is it one of those one of a million Christmas time fragrances? Absolutely not!

Room Spray has been slashed in price!
Hello everyone, Yep, like the title states, we have dropped the price of our Aromatherapy and Fragrance room spray almost in half. The reason we are able to lower the price so drastically is that we were using a commercial room spray alcohol base that was extremely expensive.
At customer request we now have removed the alcohol room spray from our site and converted back to Debra's proprietary water based formula which was what we had when we first opened the store.
I'm to blame for the switch from Debra's formula to the high priced commercial alcohol base. Well, I'll chalk that one up to a big mistake! In fact, it caused us to half to double the price for an 8 ounce bottle of room spray. Customers expressed the fact that the new alcohol base wasn't as good as Debra's proprietary blend and they didn't like the fact of having to breathe in alcohol when using the new spray. I didn't realize this until customers called and informed me of my huge misjudgment.
So, where the price was for the 8 ounce bottle of aromatherapy room spray at $9.95 they are now back to only $5.95. The fragrant room spray was at $8.95 is now back to where it used to be at only $4.95 for an 8 ounce bottle.
Somebody please pinch me and wake me up if I ever try that one again!

Coconut Milk
Hello everyone thought I would send a few lines about our product line with the wonderful fragrance of coconut milk. This is no ordinary coconut fragrance oil; this is the truest to the real fruit I have been able to find. Oh, did you know that the coconut is classified as a fruit and not a nut? Orange Sweet Essential Oil
Hello everyone, we have brought in this fabulous citrus oil in all of our aromatherapy products. From our goat's milk soap to our sulfate free shampoo.

Botanical name (Citrus Sinensis). Method of extraction cold pressed. Plant part, fruit peel. Country of origin USA.
Characteristics: This oil has an aromatic sweet, citrus aroma much like the orange peels it is derived from, only more intense and concentrated. It is an antidepressant and has a calming effect when smelled. Refreshes the air and has the properties to dissipate cooking odors. It is also a good grease cutter and is very useful in removing residues such as price labels from glass products.
Personal note. Debra and I use this oil in most all of our products. We really enjoy using it during the spring and summer in our soaps, hair and skin products. This oil is excellent in our room spray; we have yet to find any cooking odor it can't overcome. We also mix this oil to use as a counter top cleanser. This is one of the most used oils in our home.
I enjoy this orange sweet the most in our goat's milk soap. Clean, refreshing and uplifting doesn't even begin to describe the beautiful fragrance.

Our yellow shea butter is 100% natural and is imported from Ghana West Africa. It is raw, unprocessed and is grade A.

Shea Butter has been prized for thousands of years for its excellent source of Vitamins A, E and F. Naturally highly concentrated, it is the natural and economical choice to replenish your dry skin and help it TO feel softer.
It is also well known in helping with wrinkles and age lines without clogging pores or leaving your skin greasy or shiny. Shea is excellent as a hair pomade to restore the luster and shine to dry, damaged and dull hair. Because of the natural vitamins this butter is excellent to keep handy in the medicine cabinet for cuts or burns.
We use only natural shea butter. It is fair trade and harvested by women farmers producing the products to sustain their families. It has been filtered for impurities & is the creamy butter extracted from the seeds (nut) of the Karite Tree.
Note to Customer: Because this shea butter is unrefined and is a natural product, color can be different from batch to bath. This in no way diminishes the quality of the product.
We suggest that you first use this product on a small portion of your skin to make sure that you will not have an allergic reaction to any of the natural butter. This product is derived from a nut, so rare individuals with an allergy to latex & nuts can have a reaction to shea butter.
This shea butter has a high fat content and this butter appeals to all skin types and is especially useful in mature or chapped and dry skin. The difference in our yellow shea butter compared to our white is that this yellow is higher in vitamins and has a slight shea cocoa butter smell, but not offensive.

Tart Melt Candle Testimony
Good Morning My Friends at Mountain Crafted. I am very sorry for not doing this before because all the things that I am writing in my testimony is true, not sure how you make a profit because you invested in the best products, that cost, your candles are beautiful fragrances , durable , fine and pure I got what I paid for. Thank you and keep up the good work, I been delaying to place another candle’s order because of the great quality of your candlesand how durable they ar...I did not tell you guys to make such a good quality candles..smile

I just wanted to share this little testimony with all the candle's lovers, you people , lovers of health and good smelling real fragrances candles that will make you go ah...If you are like me , care for products that can contribute to your good health, If you like candles and had experience with your candle that the scent is not what you paid for check out www.mountaincrafted.com web site, their candles are not smoky smelling, the fragrance is what it is, pure , fine, and durable , and about the size, I have to divide my tart in two halves because of the bowl on the warmer only can hold so much. the size is amazing compared to other candles i had purchase before. take my word for it ! Almond Cherry Fragrance now available!
This is one of our most stimulating fragrances in our line. This aroma gives off the wonderful nuttish scent of the almond while at the same time the deep rich fragrance of a juicy red cherry.
We are able to offer this in all of our skin safe product and candles and room spray. This is not an overwhelming run you out of the room fragrance, but a steady and room filling scent that I could smell all day and not get enough of. It also has the ability to leave a faint lingering aroma on your body when used in our body products.
