Hot Cocoa

There's nothing better than a nice cup of hot cocoa to lift the spirits. It's old fashioned, I remember many times as a child enjoying a hot cup of homemade rich creamy hot cocoa.

This is one drink that never needs to be guzzled. One needs to sip to be able to savor the overwhelming taste of creamy chocolate, and smell the wonderful aroma. It always seemed to have the ability to warm up the body and soul. Rich chocolate, smooth and delicious.

I tried this in our goat's milk soap and Debra fell instantly in love with it. In bath products it smells exactly like a chocolate milk shake. I know, one might think that doesn't sound to inviting, all I can say is it's creamy, rich and fun.

Try this wonderful American treat in any of our products, I guarantee you will enjoy the rich fragrance!

Balsam & Cedar has arrived!

This fragrance oil is a combination of pleasant odors of woody pine, eucalyptus, cedarwood; bottomed with sweet balsam. Yes I agree all this sounds like nothing more than pine trees. Well I also thought that when I ordered my sample of this oil.

Yes this does have a woodsy aroma. But with this mixture more comes to life. This is an uplifting and rejuvenating fragrance that will bring the outdoors and holiday season year round.

I believe you will be like I was, amazed how strong this scent is in our candles and how fast it can fill any room in your home or office. But at the same time this oil gives off a sweet and refreshing scent in our bath products not to mention our liquid hand soap and room spray.

Give this one a try and experience the fragrances of the outdoors that only our Balsam & Cedar can provide!

We just brought in a new fragrance named Plumberry. I bet you are wondering what in this World does a plumberry smell like. Well, don't feel left out, because I felt and wondered the same thing when I came across this fragrance the first time.

My first reaction was to try and figure out what is a plumberry? I'll do my best in giving you some sort of description of this fragrance, but trust me on this one; I won't even be able to get close. This plumberry fragrance is unbelievable and complex. One minute I'm smelling plums like we use to pick and eat back on the farm, the next I'm smelling some types of berries and then out of nowhere there are herbs peaking their heads up to be noticed.

I can tell you this though, you won't forget this aroma, plumberry places its fragrance throughout your home or office with any of our products like it’s lost its mind and gives off a scent in our room spray, and bath & body products that smell so good you want to take a bite of it.

I was sort of leery at first and only ordered a sample size of this fragrance and boy was I surprised. When it arrived, I removed the top of the fragrance oil container and hardly could believe what I smelled. Folks I just couldn't hardly get my nose out of the container long enough to try it in products.

I reckon I'll sum this plumberry fragrance up like this. Unbelievable thrower in candles, a dream in soaps and creams & lotions with a fragrance like you have never smelled, fresh, clean, juicy, tart and delicious. This one’s a keeper in our line. Take the chance and give this one a try in our candles and bath & body products, I guarantee you will rightly be glad you did!

Cotton Candy

Now folks our cotton candy fragrance sure brings back wonderful memories. I can still smell and taste that spun goodness when I was at the Southeastern Fairground in Lakewood Georgia as a kid. I remember walking down the fairway amazed with all the brilliant lights, the sounds of the many different rides, hearing all the people yelling and laughing as the different rides were tossing them to and fro, the coins tinkling as they were being tossed at the stacks of bowls and cups. But for me I distinctively remember the click clack of the roller coaster as it was climbing up the first hump which soon would as if in midair drop down the other side at an never before calculated speed taking everyone's breath and with wide eyes and yelling at the top of their lungs. I will never forget the wonderful music the carousel played as the many different colored horses with mirror backdrops slowly circled in their endless ride as they moved up and down. I still to this day remember my own personal carousel horse that I named Smoke who was a solid shiny black horse with a dark red saddle with real chrome buckles and bit. I would always make a mad dash to claim smoke before any other kid did, because nobody could ride smoke like I could!

I remember listening to all the different announcers on the public address systems telling me to "Come one come all! Step right on in, yes you son, step right on in for only a thin dime, that's right just for a tenth of a dollar and you can see the wondrous Belly dancers straight from Arabia!" Or what was even better for me was, "Young man, come on in and for a quarter, that's right you heard correctly for only a forth of a dollar take five shots at the slowly moving duck targets and win that gal a teddy bear!"

Almost every one of my suppliers carries cotton candy fragrance oil and each is different. I had 4 one ounce sample bottles of cotton candy fragrance oil from 4 different suppliers lined up in a row. I stepped back in time and brought forward the smell and taste of that large spun pink ball of candy on that paper cone handle I use to enjoy so many years ago. With the memory fresh in my mind I smelled each bottle and behold it was the third bottle to the right that nailed it!

So I'm proud to state that we now carry the truest cotton candy fragrance to be found in all of our products. This is not close to; it is exactly like that sweet spun sugar I remember smelling and eating as a kid.

So if you don't mind please allow me to announce, “come one come all, step right up, yes you there, step right up and give this cotton candy fragrance a try and enjoy the fairway without having to leave your home or office!”

Orange Spice

If you are in a playful mood and would like to try something out of the ordinary and delightfully different, then this fragrance might be what you have been searching for.

Take a look at this sassy blend and you will understand why I named this fragrance Orange Spice. Here we go, this blend consist of valencia orange, sparkling bergamot, tangerine zest, tart cassis, orange essential oil, neroli, ground pepper, fiery chili pepper, and musk.

Now folks don't let all of those blends scare you off from trying this fragrance in our candles and bath & body products. This is an uplifting spicy aroma, that doesn't belong to the ordinary type fragrances and stands alone in its class. We have noticed that the blends of essential oils seem to create a fun and care free mood when we are making products.

Try this fragrance in our large assortments of products; we believe you will thoroughly enjoy the progression of scent changes.

What I mean by progression is the scents change in the products as they are being used. We find this blend to be quite phenomenal. For instance, the longer the candle is melted or burns the strong orange becomes less prominent and the beautiful undertones appear. We have also noticed this progression in our soaps and body products. By far this is one of our most unique complex mixtures that I guarantee you will find to be quite interesting.

Cashmere Woods is our newest fragrance!

We at had been searching for that just right aroma for our line of candles & bath & body products and Cashmere Woods fit that bill because it’s not the bakery, fruit or normal run of the mill fragrance, this one stands within its own class.

I guess by now you are asking, "Well Barry, what does it smell like?" So here goes the description and trust me on this, my simple description cannot give this miraculous fragrance justice.

Take an earthy woody Cedar wood scent and add Amber, Egyptian musk and bottom out with warm vanilla you have somewhat an idea of this fragrance.

My personal take on this fragrance is that it brings memories of walking through our mountain woodlands with my old trusty dog Boo by my side with fall leaves crunching beneath my boots. A faint smell of the morning’s campfire still lingers on my clothing as I savor the first sip of my French vanilla flavored coffee from my thermos while at the same time a crisp gentle breeze is blowing through the tree tops!

Try out this fragrance in our large assortment of products; I believe you will feel like us, rightly glad you did!

Strawberries & Cream

Folks I gotta go back a few years on our South Georgia farm for this unbelievable dessert. My great aunts had themselves a strawberry patch at the lower end of the pasture next to the barn. This was off limits for all of us kids. Well that was until time for picking and then under the watchful eyes of our Aunts Corrine, Freda and Peggy we picked the large sun ripened berries and placed them inside our pail. Notice folks I stated that we placed them into the pail, not drop them. Our aunts instructed us that if we were not very gentle with the berries they would bruise and then we could not eat them.

Of course we had our own milk cows and my grandmother and great aunts made fresh whipped cream. They scooped the floating cream from the top of the milk and I'm not sure what they did with it then, but it ended up being rich and thick and yummy! When it came time to enjoy strawberries and cream, fresh chilled strawberry halves were placed in a bowl, cane sugar was lightly sprinkled over them and then they were totally smothered with fresh thick cool whipped cream. As I write this I can still remember that unbelievable taste and aroma.

The reason I had you to travel back with me to the farm is so that you know that I am very aware of what real strawberries and cream smell like. As usual I tried samples from different suppliers until I found this version we now offer. You really want to know what a bowl of strawberries and cream smell like? Then you might want to give our products that carry this fragrance a try.

We at are excited that we now can offer this scrumptious fragrance in most all of our products.

Now as for the taste, you gonna have to go and get you some freshly picked strawberries, a Jersey milk cow named Miss Dolly and some cane sugar!
